Respite care is short-term, temporary
relief that can make a world of difference.
A service to the family caregivers of
children
● who have disabilities and other
special needs;
● who have chronic or terminal
illness;
● who are at risk of abuse or neglect;
● who have either a planned visit or
in response to an emergency.

After the interviews Annie's house was
renamed Noah's house in honor of Noah.
Noah's House
provides more than just care and supervision.
Noah's House provides activities and socialization to
help children grow.
For caregivers in stressful
situations, respite provides temporary relief from the
ongoing responsibilities of caring for a loved one in the
home.

Why it works.........
Noah's House:
●
Provides respite care to children with special needs, either
planned or in response to an emergency;
●
Provides overnight respite care for up to8 children with
special needs;
●
Provides children with appropriate recreational activities;
● Has
licensed nursing personnel on site 24-hours a day, 7 days a
week;
● Is
licensed by the Ohio Department of Developmental
Disabilities;
● Is
certified by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services;
● Is a
provider of Medicaid Services;
● Is a
provider of Home Health Care Waiver Services;
● Is a
provider of Level I Waiver Services;
● Has a
scholarship program available through the Noah Mills
Memorial Fund and the Employee Campaign Fund
for families meeting limited funding eligibility
requirements.
