The
Anne Grady Services
$1.3 million natatorium was completed and dedicated as the “Jack Mixon Natatorium” in September of 2001. The natatorium overlooks a scenic wooded area, providing a therapeutic environment.
The natatorium houses a warm water pool with a
floor that can be raised and lowered; a therapeutic whirlpool;
bathrooms, and changing rooms. Hydraulic lifts are
available to provide access to the pool and whirlpool to
individuals who are non-ambulatory.
The natatorium is available for use by the individuals we serve at the Center and throughout the community. Aquatic arthritis and aerobic classes are offered to the general public for a nominal fee.
Operations staff are certified by the NSPF as Certified Pool Operators. Staff that provide instruction and on-deck duty are water safety trained.
